Healthy Habits Challenge Details


Here's the nitty gritty on the Healthy Habits Challenge.

1)  Choose which plan you'd like to commit to -- either Plan A or Plan B.

2)  Seal the deal by paying your $15 with the Paypal Donation button on the right column of my blog.  You will get your $15 back (and then some) if you stick with the challenge.  Those with the most points at the end of the challenge will get to split 75% of the money put into the pot (aka Paypal donation account).  The remaining 25% will go to winner randomly drawn from those who received a minimum of 60 points each week throughout the challenge.  This includes the winners.  The number of participants who split the 25% winnings will be the same as the number of overall winners.  If everyone gets perfect points (Sure!  We can all be winners!) then we'll omit the 25% drawing and just return everyone's initial donation. 

Note: When I first did a challenge like this, the only thing that made me almost turn away from doing it was the $$ part, not because I didn't want to pay, but because I didn't want to gamble my money.  Then I realized that the money was more of a true sign of commitment and looked at it as a fee to pay to get myself to do it.  If I got the money back, great.  If not, it was a fee like I'd pay for a yoga class to help better my body.   I found as the challenge went along that the money factor kept me shooting for perfect points because I did want my money back.  It definitely was a motivational factor for me.  So I'm organizing this challenge with the same concept.  Hope it works for you! 

*Another note:  If you're joining the challenge late or the money part doesn't work for you, feel free to set your goals NOW without the money part and just follow along with us for support!  We'd love to hear about your progress as we go.  You can still track your points once you get started.  Let me know and I'll add you in.

3)  Make sure your e-mail on the Paypal payment is your contact email.  If not, send me an email with your information so I can send you the link for the Weekly Points page.  There will be NO REFUNDS after the Challenge Starts, but if for some reason you don't want to do the challenge and you notify me before the challenge begins, I'll be happy to send your $ back via Paypal. Also, specify in the Paypal comment section, which plan you are following -- Plan A or Plan B.

3)  Track your points by printing out a page (see below) to put on your fridge, calendar or wherever it might be seen throughout the day.

4)  At the end of each week, log in your week's total points on a Google Doc that I will provide for you.  Be honest with yourself and the rest of us!  It will be fun!

5)  We'll have occasional weekly prize drawings for those who are getting at least 60 points a week.  If you have anything that you'd like to donate as a prize, let me know.

6)  We'll also have an occasional bonus point each week that you can earn to have a free point on any day.  Stay tuned for those.  It won't happen every week, but when it does, you can guarantee to be so happy to get it!

7)  Until the challenge starts, spread the word to any friends or relatives who may want to join.  The more the merrier!
